Raza Mir is a Professor of management at the Cotsakos College of Business, William Paterson University. He has a PhD in Strategic Management from the University of Massachusetts, a PGDM from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and a BE in Biomedical Engineering from the College of Engineering, Osmania University. Professor Raza has won many awards for his teaching and scholarship. He has published several papers on strategic management, knowledge transfer and management of technology in the leading management journals. Professor Raza has also published three books on Urdu poetry, his most recent being “Ghalib: A Thousand Desires.”

The ability to communicate well in English is a major factor in professional success. In my talk, I will engage the listener with practical suggestions on how they can improve their professional communication on three fronts: speaking, writing, and digital communication. The session will be interactive, hopefully with many questions and observations from the participants.
